Lavender season is here and there are lots of lavender farms to visit!

How about a vacation where you bop from one lavender farm to another!

From Arizona to Pennsylvania, people are in love with lavender. Fields and fields of lavender growing and being harvested and made into multitudes of crafts, food items and natural remedies.

Lavender wreaths, lavender wands, lavender wedding bouquets, sachets, lavender table decorations, dried lavender bundles hanging on the wall… These are just a few of the ways that people are filling their homes with the decorative beauty of lavender.

Lavender is not only beautiful; it can fill your home with a wonderful aroma. It makes your home smell good and it is also a delicious additive to many types of food. Lavender is a tasty ingredient in desserts, scones, muffins, ice cream and cakes.

Of course I love making home remedies with lavender. (Check out my free ebook: Top 5 Lavender Home Remedies.) From lavender tea to help with a headache to making a lavender compress for scratches, lavender provides relief for many common ailments.

Lavender is also an herb of choice for beauty care products. Many of the lavender farms listed sell lavender bath salts and bath tea blends, lavender oils and lotions, lavender facial mists and hydrosols. It is truly amazing how versatile lavender is and how many things it can be used for.
