How many parties have you been to and the ice chests are just full of sugar and chemical drinks?

So, let me ask you, when there is something really yummy AND healthy to drink, do you go back for seconds? (Please say yes).

What I am so amazed by again and again is that when you provide a delicious and healthy drink, people can feel it. People are like, wow, what is that? They can tell that it’s a good thing.

I mean really, you know that most of the stuff in the store is junk. Would you rather drink this:

Obesity in children has increased almost 50% in the past forty years and diabetes is currently escalating at an unprecedented rate in the United States.

Let me show you, right here, right now how QUICK and EASY it is to make a cooling, refreshing summer drink that will satisfy your thirst and fill your body with healthy vitamins and minerals.

Cooling Summer Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is a delicious cooling refreshment that can squelch the heat of a sweltering hot summer day. Let’s ditch the soda filled ice chest and bring on the herbal summer teas!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon hibiscus
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint
  • 1 teaspoon lemongrass
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Put herbs and water into a large jar and put the lid on the jar
  2. Let container of herbs and water for several hours
  3. No need to heat it up, just let it sit out on the counter or in the sun for at least two hours
  4. Strain herbs out of tea
  5. Stir in honey to taste
  6. Garnish and enjoy
