Are you a parent, feeling frustrated, like you should know how to take better care of everyone during cold season?

You know the story, first it’s a runny, nose, then it’s an ear infection, or a stomach ache…..

Do you wish you knew how to stop a cold or even prevent it in the first place using non-drug solutions?

Or it could be that you are already working with natural remedies and wish you just had a few more tricks up your sleeve to keep colds from blasting through every one in your house.

Well, in this video I talk about how to use common spices to help prevent colds.

I also make a sage infusion and then use it for 5 different common ailments

I show you 5 Ways to use sage in the 3rd video in my free video series: Spice Rack Secrets. You can get in to my free video series here.

Sage

I also want you to know about a common mistake that you definitely want to avoid.

Let’s dive right in and talk about this mistake you want to avoid when working with your healing kitchen spices.

Here’s the thing, When you start to realize how useful your spices can be, you may think, well they are so amazing, why not take more? More is better, right?

Nope. Not necessarily

Have you ever noticed how pungent and strong these spices smell? I mean, open up a jar of cloves, whew, that stuff is potent!

They are strong.

That is why I love teaching home herbalism in the most simple way possible: adding herbs and spices to your food in the form of a condiment, sprinkles, seasoning and garnish.

All the herbs and spices in your kitchen cupboard are anti-microbial! Woo hoo!

To help ward off colds; try adding that bay leaf to your soup, rosemary to your spaghetti, cinnamon to your oatmeal or smoothie, thyme on your potatoes or veggies, sage in your green drink.

Of course, this is not going to take care of everything and you should still take lots of precautions to keep from catching those nasty winter ailments But again, your favorite spices can absolutely help.

Many of my students are new moms and they realize  that there is a massive learning curve in how to keep colds from spreading through the house, leaving everyone wiped out and exhausted.

When someone is catching a cold in your house, do you rely on “hope healing”? that is, you hope they get better. You may rely more on over the counter medications and haven’t been aware of the eventual side effects that they can have.

I mean you grow up, leave home and then boom are you just supposed to automatically know how to take care of your body and prevent colds.

No… You only know if it was part of your home culture.

What about if you have a child? Is there just some magic dust sprinkled on you and all of a sudden you know how to support your childs health in the best way?

No, you know it doesn’t work like that.

One of my students, Christina, is a Phd.,very successful business woman when she started taking my courses. She said that she always felt like she was so smart and so ahead of the game, but when she had her first child, she felt so unprepared and even stupid.

Why did she feel so clueless and helpless about how to really take care of her family?

She was so frustrated, nobody ever talked to her that she had to know more about how to keep her family well. why couldn’t she figure this out??

The mother in her knew there had to be something better than just giving out pills every time her child was sick and how could she keep the sickness from happening in the first place?

Have you ever felt like that? Wherever you are at on your parenting journey, it’s the right time to learn more about how to take care of your family’s health naturally…….

You can get natural remedies on your side and starting right now!
